Follow us as we make our way around the world flying a Cessna 152 using Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. All our flights are done in real-time using the highest realism levels, no computer assistance and 'live' weather conditions.
We're now continuing our journey in Canada having made our way across Alaska from the western part of the Bering Sea, the Kamchatka Peninsula and the Kuril Islands of Russia.
Our epic adventure started from humble beginnings back in October 2021 as way to see how far you could travel airport-to-airport by only flying for a few hours a day. This simple idea has grown into an epic worldwide adventure that has seen us fly from our local airport in the UK, through parts of Ireland, Scotland, Norway and Sweden and then further afield through France, Spain, Morocco, Italy, Greece, Egypt, Arabia, Pakistan, Nepal, India, Australia, South East Asia and Japan. All our flights are done in real time with 'no assists' and began with using a simple PS4 controller (yes, they will work with a PC), to evolve to now using a Logitech® Flight Yoke and Throttle Quadrant, Rudder Pedals, Flight Switch Panel, Autopilot Panel and Flight Display Panel.
But it doesn't stop there! We've also flown plenty of other aircraft and done lots of other trips as we have made our way around the world.

Why the Cessna 152?
The Cessna 152 has been the default aircraft in MS Flight Simulator since its inception in 1982 and apart from being one of the easiest to fly, because of it's long period of development over the life of the game itself, it is also one of the most detailed and realistic of all the planes available. The other thing that attracted us to flying the Cessna 152 is its accessability - that is - it's something that almost anyone can do given the relatively low cost of buying the real plane (as long as you can afford your pilot's license) and is something that many people have done and continue to do. Of course using the simulator makes it a lot easier, as we don't have any flight restrictions, don't need visas or have to find somewhere to sleep between flights!
